Sam Lau is a serial entrepreneur and a former investment banker at Deutsche Bank. As co-founder and CEO of Flow Capital, he brings with him vast experience in alternative investment and fixed-income products, including a broad range of private credit assets.

Prior to co-founding Flow, Mr. Lau established a Shenzhen-based financial firm, of which he serves as Chairman and has completed over USD2bn of transactions, mainly in supply chain finance. Mr. Lau also founded Heungkong Financial Group (later renamed to Futec Financial Group) in 2016 which offered investment banking, brokerage, securities and investment management services in Hong Kong. The company has since executed over 150 projects and transacted over USD30bn in corporate finance, structured financing and debt capital markets businesses. The company was acquired by a Hong Kong-listed company in 2022.

Mr. Lau graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Management with a focus on Finance and Business Law.
